Satsang At Jayananda Prabhu's House
The devotees met at Jayananda Prabhu's house on Saturday for Satsang.
The devotees arrived and were greeted by Jayananda Prabhu who offered his house up for service to the Absolute Truth, Krishna.
The Satsang started with an informal discussion, then lots of blissful kirtan lead by Krishna Kirtan Prabhu. All the devotees enjoyed the lovely kirtan.. the chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, which is the reccomended yuga yajna for this age of Kali.
After the kirtan the devotees read from Srila Sridhar Maharaja's book ' Subjective Evolution of consciousness'. The devotees then set up the plates of prasad (the offerings had already been offered to Krishna), the feast was served out and looked absolutely wonderful. There were lovely marinated curd steaks, superb subji, divine vegeatable gratin and nectar North Indian cabbage salad.
The devotees then had another kirtan after prasadam to finish off the Satsang, followed by discussion on Krishna.
A big thanks to all the assembled devotees for making the effort to come together to glorify Guru and Gauranga!
